Chapter 1:
            “Mom, I’ve got to go to Hailey’s house. Can we make this chat very quick? It’s Jonas Friday and I haven’t listened to a single song yet! This is soooo an S.O.S.!”
            “Well, if Jonas Friday is ‘soooo’ important, your father and I will talk to you tomorrow about, okay? But I must say, you’re missing out on some awesome news.”
            “Yeah, yeah, I gtg. Jonas Friday starts promptly at 8 and I am not going to miss a second of it!” I scooted my butt out of the kitchen and ran down the street. I knocked on the door, breathing very heavily might I add, and out popped Zach, Hailey’s little brother.
            “Hey Zach, where’s Hailey?” I asked.
            “I dunno, I dunno, I dunnooooo!” he sang doing his weird childish dance where he waves his stubby fingers in the air and marches in a circle – weird little kid.
            “Come on, Zach, let me in. You know how important today is for Hailey and me!” I pleaded. I could not believe I was ‘pleading’ to a 3^rd grader! I was 18 for Pete’s sake!
            “Nope! You gotta have the passsssworddddd!” he said going for his 5^th rond of the Zach March.
            “Okay, I guess I’ll just go back home then.” I said ever so gloomily. I started to walk away, Zach still at the doorway, then I charged left to their side door. Zach immediately knew what was going on and scrambled to the side door, but it was no use. I was already standing inside, like I’d been waiting for him, checking my nails.
            “Man, you’re getting slower and slower each week! I think you’d better practice up, little man or you’ll be no competition at all!” I said with a smirk. He folded his arms and stomped off, plopping himself on the couch. I stomped my feet on the ground to make it sound like I’d went downstairs and watched. I could hear him getting up to the front door. “One, two three!” he counted to himself and came running toward where I was still standing, the side door. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me with a look on his face that said “Ummm...” I giggled and actually went downstairs this time.
            Hailey was sitting at her computer chair and was a-clickin’ away on the keyboard and mouse. “Hey, Hails. What kind of Jonas shenanigans are you getting into now?”
            “Hey Kristen. Actually I’m Googling Joe Jonas right now! Did you know the Jonas Brothers are going to be performing on MTV tonight?! I had no idea!” She jumped off her chair and catapulted herself to the couch and went slap-happy on the remote, surfing for channel 55. After about 12 seconds of clicking-insanity, MTV had showed up on the screen. The host guy announced: “Now don’t go away, the ever-so-famous- Jonas Brothers are performing LIVE, next here on MTV.”
            “AHHHHH!!!!!” we both screamed in excitement.
            “I love Jonas Friday! I love it love it love it!!!” I said.
            “Me too! Oh what a dark and gloomy world would be ours if not for the Jonas Brothers!” Hailey said with a huge grin on her face.
            “I don’t know what you just said, but I’m guessing it had to do something about the Jonas Brothers being hot!” I said clapping my hands.
            “Look, look, the commercials are over! They’ll be on in like 10 seconds!”
            “And here LIVE on your TV are the Jonas Brothers!” the host guy said. We, again, both screamed in excitement. It started with about 100,000 fans screaming their guts out, Burning Up started to play and, well, you know the rest…
              Chapter 2:
            “I love it how they sound good LIVE! A lot of singers can’t pull that off, but then again, they aren’t the Jonas Brothers!!” Hailey exclaimed.
            “I know exactly what you mean. I mean the concert we went to was unbelievably awesome!” I said back. “Oh my Jonas! Do you realize the biggest mistake of our actions right now?!” I yelled.
            “Oh my Jonas you’re right! It’s already 8:01 and she’s NOT HERE!!!!”
            “I KNOW!”
            “What are you Jonas chicks talking about?!” Gina said as we both turned around. She was holding a big JB tote-purse and had the free hand in the air like she was showcasing a cloud.
            “GINA! We missed you sooo much! I’m so happy you were able to come!” I said giving Gina a humungo hug.
            “Yeah, me too! How was England? I got all of your postcards and let me tell you, it looked beautiful!” Hailey exclaimed running toward her, arms open wide.
            “Umph!” Gina winced as we attacked her with hugs. “I would t-tell you but I
c-can’t b-breath!” she said gasping for air. We finally let go so she could ‘spill-the-beans’ to us. “Well London was the most gorgeous place I’ve ever seen since Italy. The shopping was fantastic and I got a whole bunch of stuff for you guys at this cute little knick-knack shop in the heart of it all called “Heart of the Home”.” She dumped out her purse and a thousand little key chains with funny sayings on them came flying out. I got three total, but my favorite was one with the Eiffel Tower on it that said “If you’re looking for this guy, you’ve gone too far”. On the back it said “Welcome to England”.
            “Oh, I love it, Gina You didn’t have to… but I’m so glad you did!” I said giving her another hug. “Mine are so my humor! Love ‘em!” Hailey said.
            “Well that’s not all,” Gina said lifting one eyebrow. “There is one more thing I have to give my bestest buds!” Tension went high in the basement as Gina pulled from her purse two long, thin pieces of paper and two larger pieces with key chain necklaces looped through a small hole at the top. Wait a minute…!!!!
            “You sooo did not!!!” I screamed. Hailey was too much in shock to say a word. Little squeals came from her mouth every 5 or so seconds.
            “I sooo did too!” Gina screamed along. She turned them around to show the titles:

                        JONAS BROTHERS: LIVE IN CONCERT
                        JULY 5^TH   AT   D.T.E. ENERGY THEATRE
                        7 P.M. UNTIL THEY CAN’T ROCK ANYMORE!!

On the two necklaced pieces it had the same information but below the time it said:

                        ULTIMATE BACKSTAGE ACCESS!!

I couldn’t believe it! Gina had pulled off something no one could. She will go down in history for bestest friend in the world!!
            “Just one thing,” I started. Gina looked at me questioningly. “I get Kevin!” They both laughed with Hailey now being able to do more than high pitched noises and we talked about our marriages: Gina to Nick, Hailey to Joe, and of course me to Kevin!
Chapter 3:
            “How in the world did you pull this one off, Gina?” Hailey asked.
            “Well, my mom dated the president of Hollywood Records when she was in high school and she was able to pull some strings. She surprised me with it this morning when I got off the plane. My dad had known about it through the whole entire trip and didn’t say a word. I was very impressed.” Gina explained.
            “Wowee,” I said sinking into a bean-bag chair (where I sat every Friday). “This is so awesome! Kevin and I are only 2 years apart! I would so date this hunk of musical genius and romantic spirit. I can’t wait.”
            “Yeah, me neither! What do you think I should…” Hailey started.
            “No. I mean I can not wait,” I said sounding very serious. And to make my point even more clearly I held up my hands as two stop signs. “The concert’s a week away. They’re already in Michigan, right?”
            “Yes,” Gina began, “but I don’t like where this is going Kristen. What are you trying to get us into this time?”
            “I’m saying we should see them before they concert up this place, man! Waiting is not my thing, and you guys know it’s not my thing so we need to figure out where they are and how long they’ll be there,” I was on a roll now and couldn’t stop, “If we introduce ourselves to them before the concert, we’ll have an even better time at the concert with them because we will have already met. Everything after that will have just to fall into place.” I stopped and they just stared, mouths open. They weren’t blinking. Gosh, I don’t think they were even breathing!
            “Guys?... Guys! Snap out of it!!!!” I yelled slapping their lags. They finally came back to reality.
            “Are you insane, Kristen? There is no WAY on Earth that is going to happen. The slightest chance we some how find out where they’re going and find them there, we’ll have to go through Big Rob. Are you prepared for that?” Hailey asked.
            “If it’s for the sake of Jonas love, then YES! I’m prepared for ANYTHING!”
            “What do you think, Gina?” Hailey asked, turning to the woman on spotlight, “You think this is ridiculous, don’t you?”
            “No. I think this is pure genius, Kristen! We are going to do this. We are going to meet the Jonas Brothers and they are going to like, no, LOVE it! And we will get married to them and no one will stand in the way of us!!” She was breathing very heavily by now and she looked like she was on a different planet.
            “See! Now Hailey would you seriously give up the opportunity to meet the Jonas Brothers before the concert?!” I asked.
            “Well… no I guess not.”
            “WHOO HOO!!!” Gina and I both shouted together. The two of us jumped up and ran to the computer. Click, click, clicking away!
            “What are you two doing now?” Hailey asked ever so happily.
            “We’re looking on the internet to find where they’re going to be this week,” Gina called over. “Says here that their favorite hotels are Countryside Hotels. Isn’t there one of those just North of here?”
            “Hey, you’re right! I bet that’s where they’re going to be staying! This means they’ll be going to our mall and/or movie theatre!” I shrieked. We got down to business and Hailey joined us, sharing information on good resource websites for Jonas dirt…
Chapter 4:
             Later that night we had everything planned out:
            “Okay, so tomorrow we’re all going to the Counrtyside Hotel and holding out signs for them. Gina, you’re making one for Nick; Hailey, you’re making one for Joe; I’m making one for KEVIN! Oh my gosh this is the best idea I’ve ever had!” I said.
            “Yeah, way better than your idea of bungee jumping off you’re cousin’s barn!” Hailey said with a laugh.
            “Oh, like a broken arm slowed me down for 4 weeks!” I said rolling my eyes.
            “Okay, okay you guys, stop the fighting! We still need to make sure it’s alright with our parents. I know my mom will let us, and so will Hailey’s, but will yours, Kristen?” Gina asked.
            “Oh, they better! It’s the freaking Jonas Brothers! How could they NOT let me go?!” I shouted. My felt my pupils getting larger by the second and my friends were both kinda freaking out… Never a good sign.
            “Okay, let’s take a chill-pill here and think this thing through,” Hailey started, “I say we get ourselves a room on Monday. We’ll be able to sneak around the hotel and not be thought of as suspicious people. We could probably wait in the pool all day for their days off. Joe LOVES to swim; I know. I know everything about Joe!”
            “Oh yeah, that sounds good except one minor detail…” Gina began, “It costs $150 a night there and we don’t have that kind of money! Even if we put it all together, we don’t have enough for 2 nights. It was a good idea, but it’s just not gonna be possible.”
            “Dude, are you kidding me?! You’re stinkin’ rich! Like you don’t have that kind of money?” I said surprised.
            “It’s not all MY money, you know. My mom gives me an allowance of $20 a week. I spent a whole years worth of allowance on those tickets and backstage passes!” Gina said.
            “She’s right, Kristen. We still don’t have enough money,” Hailey said patting me on the back.
            “Well… I don’t care what the odds are; I’m going to meet the Jonas Brothers!” I persisted.
            “And you will, at the concert!” Gina said waving the passes in my face.
            “No, I want to before that! I want to see them when they’re not all sweaty and their voices hurt almost too much to talk! Ugh… It’s just not fair!” I whined.
            “Yeah, well let’s sleep on it. It’s 3 in the morning and I’ve had a rough day,” Gina said. We all went to sleep and dreamt about the Jonas Brothers, as we do every night.
            In the morning we- as usual- discussed our dreams, had banana pancakes, and Gina and I went home. As I entered the front door to my household, I found my mom and dad sitting at the table, discussing something good (I could tell by the huge grins on their faces). They immediately stopped when they saw me coming toward them. I asked what was up.
            “Remember how we said that we had good news for you? Well, your father won the lottery!” My mom yelled.
            “What!? No way!!!” I screamed.
            “Yes way and we’re splitting it between all three of us, so you get $850!” She said. And then it hit me… I knew how to pay for our rooms XD!
Chapter 5:
            “Mom, dad, I love you so so so much!” I yelled giving them a hug. They hugged right back.
            “Now we can pay off those bills and go on vacation somewhere fancy,” mom said with a dreamy look in her eye.
            “And,” my dad added, “We can finally get rid of the old Station Wagon and get a new hybrid car!” My dad was a total eco-friendly-tree-hugger person. And that was alright with me, because so were my mom and I. We even protested against cutting down the Foster Forest to build a gas station. Two wrongs in one! Luckily we had so many participants that they resigned from going through with the unneeded project.
            “And Gina, Hailey, and I can get those rooms!” I blabbed without thinking.
            “What? Rooms?” my dad’s face suddenly fell, “You were going to rent rooms without talking to us first?”
            “No, no, not at all! What I meant to say is: “Now we can talk about the rooms for Gina, Hailey, and me!”” I stammered.
            “Where?” he said patiently but with a stern look on his face.
            “The Countryside Hotel.”
            “When?”
            “ASAP. For, like, a few days.”
            “Who?”
            “Just me, Hailey, and Gina.”
            “No boys, right? Absolutely no boys.”
            “Well, the thing is…”
            “No, you can’t go. If there are boys there, there’ll bound to be trouble!”
            “No!! Not just any boys!!!! THE JONAS BROTHERS! They’re going to be staying there for the next week and we just wanted to meet them before the concert and the backstage access!”
            “Whoa, concert? Backstage access? When did all this happen?” mom said shocked.
            “Oh yeah, Gina’s mom hooked us up with some tickets and backstage passes! Isn’t that awesome!?” I exclaimed
            “Very. What do you say, Carl?” mom asked dad.
            “I say…” he started.
            “YES! Yes, you can go!” Mom interrupted. Dad looked at her like she was nuts! “What?” mom asked, “When was the last time you got to meet a rock star, or rock stars for that matter, that was really famous in your day and age?” Dad opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He shut it and leaned over to me, “You better as heck have a good time!” He grabbed me and hugged me tight.
            “Thanks, dad you’re the best!”
            “Now, go up to your room…. And start packing!” mom said in a relieved tone.
            I ran up to my room, texting Hailey and Gina:
            DUDES! WE R SO GOING TO MEET THEM IN THE HOTEL! CALL ME BACK TOMORROW MORNING!
