Info

I move to north jersey from south jersey and meet some boys who live in the neighborhood. I'm in the sixth grade and so is one of the younger brothers (Nick).

Chapter 1: Someone New

"Mom, I'm going to look around the neighborhood!" I said. It stinks coming to a new neighborhood! I thought. As I looked at all the houses, I wonder how I would make friends. Then I hear "Nick! Watch out!" I look ahead of me and I see someone on a scooter. BAM! He crashes right into me and I fall back. Ouch I think. I scraped my elbow and it starts to bleed. " Are you okay?" one of them said to me. There were three boys. The one that hit me ran over to me to help me up. "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you okay?" I said. "I'm good too. Do you need something for you're elbow" "I'll wash it out when I get home." I hear my mom in the distance "Time to come home, Anna!" "I gotta go. See'ya." I say to them. I turn around and run home. They're cute. Especelly the one with the curly hair. He looks like he's in seventh grade though.

Nick's POV

"Let's ride our scooters guys!" Joe said to me and Kevin. "I guess we should," Kevin said, "I mean there's nothing better to do." Let's race!" I said. "Yeah! I'll totally beat you!" Joe said. We lined up infront of the house. Eat my dust, Joe. I thought. "GO!!" yelled Kevin. I took the early lead. I looked back to see how Joe was doing. "Nick! Watch out!" I look ahead of me to see a girl. I don't have enough time to stop and I crash into her. Thankfully I land on some grass, but she hits the cement. "Are you okay?" I ask her as I run over to her. She's fine but her elbow isn't. "Do you need something for your elbow?" I ask her. "I'll wash it out when I get home." I never saw a girl who doesn't flip if she gets hit. I thought. Someone calls to her in the distance. "Time to come home, A-." I couldn't make out the name. "I gotta go. See'ya." she says. She runs to the house. She's cute. She looks like a seventh grader.

Chapter 2: School

(back to my POV)

The next day I had to start a new school and I to get up SUPER early. "Five more minutes!" I said as my alarm clock rang. "Get up now, Anna!" my mom said. I got up and got dressed but I was not happy. I was upset about getting up so early, but I was even more scared about starting a new school, not knowing anyone. When I got to school, I was a little confused where my math class was so I asked this girl who was walking by with her friends. "Where's this classroom?" "Over there in loserville." she said. She was laughing with her friends as she walked away. I went back to my locker to hang up the schedule. I was looking down at a piece of paper I had when I bumped into someone again.

Chapter 3: "Do I know you?"

When I looked to tell the person sorry, it looked like I had seen him before. "Hey," he said,"do I know you from somewhere? Wait, I know, I hit you the other day on my scooter. Sorry about that." "It's okay," I said. "by the way, I didn't get your name. My name is Anna." "Oh, my name is Nick. Nick Jonas." "Nice to meet you," I said, "by the way can you tell me where this class is?" "You can come with me," Nick said, "I have to go there too."

Chapter 4: Lunch

The first couple periods went by very quickly, (Of course I was the new girl in every class.), and then came lunch. I decided to buy my lunch to see how good the food really was. While I was walking to a table, somone tripped me. It was the same girl who had teased me before. Everyone started to laugh at me. As I ran to another table to hide my face, I felt a tear start to roll down my face. When I sat down, I heard someone sit down infront of me. It was Nick. "So is that the latest style, wearing food." he said "[laughs] Yeah, it looks like it," I said. "Who is that girl?" "Oh, that's Nicole. She doesn't really like new people." Nick said. "I can see that now." I said.

Nicole's POV

"Hey, watch this." I said to my friends. It was that loser from before. I stuck my foot out as she was walking by and she fell into her food. Everyone was laughing at her. Then I started to talk with my friends. "Hey, I think Nick likes that new girl, Anna." one of them said. "Why would he like her." I said. "Because he's over there trying to cheer her up." I looked back and it was true, he was over there with her. I didn't even notice that I had a hotdog, (all I could think of) in my hand and I started to squeez it saying "Why isn't he with ME!" When I was done I noticed the hotdog all over my hand. "EWEWEW! GET IT OFF!" I said. As one of my friends were whiping it off I thought It's not fair. Nick and I are meant to be! I'll have to think of a way to get him back.

Chapter 5: The Bus Ride Home

"Hey do you want to come over my house later?" Nick asked me, "It's two houses up from where I hit you." "Sure." I said. "Are there many other kids in the neighborhood?" I asked him. "No, just me, you, and my brothers. I'll tell you about them." he said, "Joe is very dramatic, Kevin will shake your hand when he meets you, and my younger brother Frankie is a little ball of energy." "Thanks," I said "I'll keep that in mind." Then we got off at my stop. I ran inside to tell my mom all about my hectic day!

Chapter 6: Nick's House

I walked up to Nick's house and rung the doorbell. Someone else answered. "Hello?" he said. "I'm looking for Nick." I said. "Oh come on in. I'm Joe, and you are..." "Anna" I said quickly. Then I saw another person. "Joe, who is this?" "This is Nick's friend, Anna." Joe said. "Hi, I'm Kevin." he said shaking my hand. "Hi," I said. "Nick's in here." Kevin told me.  I walked in with Kevin and Joe and I saw a girl standing over Nick. I think she was helping him with the math we had to for school. "Nick never told me you guys had a sister." I said. "Oh no," Kevin said, "that's Joe's friend, Dominique." "She's been my friend since she moved here. We were both in first grade." Joe explained to me. "Oh, hi Anna. This is..." Nick said trying to finish the sentence. "Dominique?" I interupted. "I'm Anna." "Hi, Anna." There was a moment of silence. "So........what do you guys want to do? Do you want to ride scooters?!?!" Joe said breaking the silence. "Joe, the last time we rode scooters, someone got hurt." Kevin said. "Who?" Joe said. "ANNA!!!!" Kevin and Nick screamed at the same time. "Ok." Joe said. "So what should we do?..."

Chapter 7: The tree house

"I know what we should do!" Dominique yelled, "We could go to the tree house!" "Yeah!" Joe agreed. When we got there, all we really did was hang out. Their little brother must have been looking for us. "I finally found you guys!" he said "Who's this?" he said pointing at me. "This is Anna, my friend from school." Nick explained. "You must be Frankie. Nick told me about you." I said. We hung out for a long time until Dominique had to go home to get ready for her field hockey game. "See'ya later!" she said leaving. "Bye!" we all said at the same time. "Man! I like Dom to much! It's driving me crazy!" Joe said when she was out of site. "Then why don't you ask her out?" Kevin asked. "Cause when ever I try, I get nervous!" he shouted. "Text her." I said. "I can't." "What do you want me, Nick, and Kevin to do it for you?" "That would be perfect!" he said. "I'm not going to-" he cut me off. "Please, Anna!" "Fine!" I said. "Give me your phone! You have her number, right?" "Please," Kevin said, "their on the phone all the time!" I opened his contacts and started to text her. 'do u want 2 go out some time?' the text said. "I'll let Joe do the honors."I said. Then he pressed send. A couple seconds later a text read, 'sure. how bout da movies.' I read it to him. "Ask her if she wants to see 'One Missed Call'." Joe said. 'one missed call?' I typed. Thrity seconds later, the phone read, 'thats fine. 8:00 friday ok?' 'thats perfect' I put. "Joe, you offically got your date, Friday at 8:00p.m." Nick announced. "Yesssssssssssssssss! And thanks Anna." Joe said. "No problem." I said. I knew from there me, Nick, Joe, Kevin, and Dominique would be great friends.

Chapter 8: Joe's Date

Part 1

The next couple days, it was the same routine: Nick and I went to school, we went home, did our homework, and I went to the Jonas' after I was done and we went right to the tree house. Then came Friday. Since it was Friday we had no homework and Nick and I raced to his house. Joe and Kevin were already home because they are in high school. "Where is he!" Nick yelled. "Upstairs with Kevin." Mrs. Jonas said. I followed Nick upstairs and we ran into Joe's room. He was sitting there with Kevin. "Oh, hey guys," Joe said, "I'm really nervous!" "Well duh!" Kevin said. "So we know you're going to the movies. Now we need to know what you're going to wair." I said. "Hey! I have an idea!" Nick started, "Kevin could stay here with Joe and help him deside what to wair and me and Anna could go to that new dollar store a couple blocks down to pick up flowers and some chocolate." "Good idea Nick!" I said, "Come on, I need to get my bike!"

When we got back with the roses and chocolate, we ran back upstairs to see what they picked out. "You didn't pick out anything yet! Your date is in.... two hours!" Nick shouted. "Let me see what you have." I said walking over to his closet. "Don't go in...!" Kevin and Nick said at the same time. But it was to late, I had already opened it "...there." Nick finished. "*cough* Open a window..." I said weakly from the horrible smell. Kevin quickly opened a window.

After an hour of looking for something to wair, we finally found something and he got ready. "Are you ready?" Kevin said to Joe. Joe got in Kevin's car and they drove away. Joe was going on a date with his dream girl.

Part 2 Joe's POV

I got in Kevin's car and we left. I was still really nervous. "I can tell your still really nervous." Kevin said to me. "I-I'm n-not nervous." I said. "Joe, just be yourself." Kevin told me. We pulled up to Dominique's house. Just be yourself I kept repeating in my mind. I went up to the door and rang the doorbell. Dominique answered it. She looked beautiful. "Ready to go?" I said. "I'm ready!" We got in he back of Kevin's car and he drove us to the movies.

 "I'll call you when the movie's over." I said to kevin to let him know when to pick us up. We walked into the theater and realized that we didn't get any drinks, candy, or popcorn. So I got up out of my seat while the previews were still playing. "I'll be right back." I said to Dominique. "Ok." she said. I went up to the stand and got a lot. I went back and handed Dominique some candy and popcorn. The movie was just starting.

At the end of the movie, I called Kevin and he came to pick us up. It was a good movie and I put a couple moves on her. They kind of worked... Then Kevin came and we jumped in the back. We just kept talking and talking and before I knew it, we were there. "I had a great time." Dominique said. "So did I. We should do it again sometime." I said. "That would be nice." she said. And with that she was gone. I'm really glad Anna was there to help.

Chapter 9: Halloween

After the first two months of school, I got to know some other people who are in my classes, but I always sat with Nick. About three days before Halloween I asked Nick what he was going to be. "I don't know. What about you?" he said. "I'm not sure either. Hey I dare you to be a girl." I said laughing. "Do I have to wear a dress or skirt?" he said complaining. "Yes." "Fine, but then you have to be...umm...ahh...a..a pretty, little, ballareina (all I could think of) then." "Ewww. I'll go tonight then."

So when we got home, I gave Nick the pair cloths that were the girliest. I could see he wasn't at his happiest though. I didn't care. As soon as Nick left, me and my mom left to go to the costum place and guess who we saw? NICOLE! Why today did we have to come? I thought. Then our moms started to talk. "Why don't you girls go look for your costums together?" Nicole's mom said. "Great idea, Mom!" Nicole said. I gave a weak smile and walked away with her. We walked into the isle and she picked up a costum and threw it back in disgust. "Listen," she started, "you can just stay away from Nick, he's MINE!" "Umm, I don't like him and even if I did, he doesn't like me." I lied. "But stay away from him anyway." she told me trying to sound threatening. "He's my best friend! I would never!" I was angry now. "Not for long. Soon he'll be my boyfriend and he won't have any time for you!" "Whatever!" I shouted. I tried to imagine Nicole and Nick together and laughed loudly at the thought. "What are laughing at?!?!?!?" she yelled. "Nothing..." Now I was giggling. She mummbled something under her breath. After that event, we stopped talking. I finally found what I was looking for.

Chapter 10: No luck with boys...

So the next was offically Halloween. Joe, Kevin and Dominque had off of school for some reason. Probably because it was a dumb holiday and the teachers needed a break. Dominique's mom was a hairdresser so i asked if she could do my hair for my costum. So i came into school late.

Nick's POV; at school

Anna wasn't at the bus stop this morning and she wasn't at school when I got there. I was starting to get a little nevous. Then I saw Nicole walk into the door. She looked beautiful, I had to admit... I really liked Anna but I didn't want to mess up our friendship. So without thinking, i go up and ask Nicole out. She screams so loud. "I would LOOOOOOVE to, Nick!" She seemed excited. "So do you want to go to a movie?" I asked. "Sure!" I wonder how Anna will feel about this... Just then, Anna walked through the door, but she didn't look like herself. I relized I liked Anna more than Nicole, but Nicole was pretty too. I could feel my face drop as she ran over to me smiling. "How do I look Nick? I hate all the make-up, it makes me feel like a clown!" she said "You look... nothing like yourself, no offense." I said hiding my sadness. "Non takin, I totally agree with you!" she was so happy. "Listen, I asked Nicloe out." Her face dropped a little but she still seemed happy. "Cool." she said without much expression. 

My POV

When Nick told me that he asked Nicole out, I was crushed. During the periods before lunch, i was silent and only did what I was asked. At lunch, Nicole even sat with us! She gave me the silent treatmentthe whole time. I didn't care, I wasn't in the mood to talk. Why don't I EVER have luck with boys? I thought to myself. I hope this doesn't go on long. Thay day I went over the Jonas's house and forgot all about it until Joe had to bring it up. "I heard that Nick asked out a girl today!" "Shut up!" Nick shouted. "Her name is Nicole." I said. Nick gave me a look. I didn't care. "Well...... Let's go trick-or-treating!" Frankie said. "Yeah," Nick said angrily, "let's go." I got up and followed him. Kevin and Joe came too. (Joe wanted to go trick-or treating, Kevin had to take us)
