i wonder why jb spells it "poned" when the "correct" way is pwned....i mean if you type in poned into wikipedia or dictionary.com they just change it to pwned.

nickslover4 is right about the "poned" snd "pwned" thing. It was in a magizine article with a nick quote explaining that his "poned" purity ring refers to being let down and that they say "pwned" but like "ooooohhhhh - I own you!"- Just thought I'd let you know. :]

actually the real word is PWNED
it started during an online gaming session. like for those boys who go online and play coutner strike for hours. or some kind of role-playing shooting people game. someone had meant to type i OWN you.. but since the O and the P are right next to each other, he got too excited and typed PWNED. i think that little kid head it. and when JB and the band heard it, they took it was PONED. but anywhoo, it doesnt matter. JB and the band certainly made it much more popular :)
