According to a recent press release, the Jonas Brothers self titled CD "The Jonas Brothers" has debut at #5 on the Billboard charts (way to go!).

In addition, they have several TV appearances coming starting with Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel this Friday. This will be followed by performances on Miss Teen USA August 24, Arthur Ashe Kids' Day August 25, Disney Channel Summer Games Closing Ceremony August 25, and with an appearance as presenters on the Teen Choice Awards August 26. A review in USA Today read, "They've got fizzy harmonies, punchy power chords and sugary choruses that bounce off the walls."

Said Hollywood Records General Manager, Abbey Konowitch, "Jonas Brothers have put in a great deal of energy and work into making and promoting this record, and this debut reflects their and our staff's dedication to this project."

There is a lot of speculation and concern over Karleigh in NYC last night. Let me assure you that everyone is OK.

Karleigh and her sister Katie were the ones in the ambulance. Conditions were very hot at the concert, and they had a bout with heat exhaustion and fainted. An ambulance was called as a precaution, but they have recovered, and are doing fine. They are currently on their way home.

The band, their management, and the Gramercy were stellar in their support and concern for my daughters last night.

I appreciate and thank everyone for their concern and prayers. 

The bulletins from the Jonas Brothers I relayed to my girls. My thanks goes out to them for their support.

The girls are looking forward to the concert in Pittsburgh next week!

Fox announced today that the Jonas Brothers are scheduled to appear at the Teen Choice Awards on August 26th at 8 PM EST.

In another announcement by Hollywood Records today, the Jonas Brothers will be touring with Miley Cyrus this fall and into 2008. A complete schedule is available here.

People Magazine is also reporting today that the Jonas Brothers will be performing at the Miss Teen USA Pageant on Aug. 24th. (hat tip to Mike_R)
