I wrote this a long time ago for my two friends and I and I've tried to post it a few times and no one read and commented! So, this is the last time I'm posting it and I'm hoping that it will get more attention. So, please read and comment if you want me to keep it going!

Chapter One (Kevin's POV)
Joe and Ashleigh said their goodbyes later that night. before leaving for their honeymoon. Lexy and I had helped set it up. They were going to Paris, away from all of the noise of the real world. Nothing could bother them, and, hopefully, they couldn’t bother us either. They have been overly paranoid with Lexy lately. Ashleigh, being the cautious godmother that she is, has been making sure that Lexy is doing everything right.
The next morning, I looked down on the table at the little envelope in front of me. I was tempted to open it and take a peak, but I knew it wasn’t just my decision. It’s been a week since we had gotten it, and we still haven’t decided whether to look or not. I sat and watched a movie with Madison.
“What are you watching?”, I asked her.
“Kitty!”, she replied. I looked at the screen to see that it was The Lion King. I chuckled to myself. She began to fall asleep in my lap, but was awakened by her mother.
“Kevin!! Come here!!” I ran as fast as I could up the stairs to find her in bed, clutching her round belly.
“What’s wrong?”, I asked in a panicked tone. I went to her side and tried to get her to sit.
“Something’s wrong, Kevin”, her voice was weak. I could tell she was in pain. I didn’t think twice. I led her down to the car, and then called Frankie. We only live two blocks from my parents, so he was there in a matter of minutes.
“Can you please keep an eye on Maddie while I take Lexx to the hospital?”, I asked. I didn’t even let him answer. I just jumped into the car and drove.

I walked into the room to see her sitting there. Tears formed in her eyes and I felt mine doing the same.
“They said I lost it. Like, as if it were a remote our something.”, the tears fell faster and she began to cry harder. I grabbed her in my arms and cried with her.
“Lexx, I love you. I want you to know that. No matter what happens, we will make it through.”. I tried my best to comfort her, but I knew it was only making it worse.
“The doctor said I have to stay for a few days. What is Madison going to think?”, she asked. She was crying to hard that it was difficult to understand her. Her skin was pale and she was so weak. She was heart broken.
“She’ll be fine. We’ll all be fine.” I was trying to make myself feel better too, but it wasn’t working. “Did the doctor says whether it was—“, I was cut off by her shaking her head back and fourth.
“I told them I didn’t want to know until you were here.”
“We’ll look at it together, when you’re up to it.” I feared that she would never be up to it. She was so scared, so hurt, so enclosed to the rest of the world. It wasn’t the Lexy that I knew.
Again, comment would mean the world!
