Mary's Song [FF]
"Mommy, please can I play with Nicky? Please Please Please?" seven year old, Mary said, giggling. Denise smiled and Mary's mom, Sara nodded. Mary took off down the stairs to nine year old Nick.
"Nicky! Nicky! Nicky! Wait!" She said chasing after that curly head boy. Nick stopped, looking at the adorable little pig-tailed girl.
"Mary, stay away! You're too little!" Nick said, eyes pleading to little Mary, waiting for his brother's mockery.
"I am not Nicky! I can ride my bike just as fast as you and you know it!" Mary said, getting on the two wheeled bike. "Please Nicky?" He nodded.
"Fine, but when you fall I'm not going to help you!" He said, jumping on his bike and riding off as fast as he could to get away from that little girl. Then he heard a scream, and he turned his head and little Mary was on the ground, knee bleeding.
"Nicky please help me!" She cried out, tears running down the little girl's face. He sighed, jumping off the bike. When he got there, Mary was screaming, a large gap in her leg. He ran picking her up and running to his mom. Tears were running down Nick's face looking at the little girl's bleeding leg.
"What's happened?" Denise asked, yelling.
"She fell off the bike." They ran putting the little girl's limb body in the back of a van. Nick was crying as Mary screamed in pain. He looked in the little girl's eyes wrapping his small fingers around the little girl's hand, holding tight. Mary's screamed seesed for a few moments, smiling a little. Tears still running down her small pudgy face, but trying to be strong so Nick didn't think she was such a little kid.
After Mary got stitches in her leg, Nick was kneeling on the floor by the bed praying to god that little Mary would be alright.
"Nicky?" Mary said, whispering.
"Yeah Mary?" curly haired Nick asked.
"I'm going to marry you when i'm older, Nicky. Just you wait, when I'm a big girl. I will wear a pretty ring and you will love me just as much as I love you, Nicky."
