I stared at him in disbelief, Nick Jonas was this close to me.   Their music wasn't something that I really listened to anymore.  I was more of a hard rock/classic rock kind of girl.  I admit that I had a slight celeb crush on all 3 of them when I was 15, but that was 2 years ago. 

Yes, I admit that I was starstruck because there was a celebrity (Not bad looking one either) in my father's restaurant.   He was breathing fairly heavily as if he had just  ran a mile, "Where are we?"  he asked. 

It finally occured to me that he was probably just as confused as I was.  "Oh, this is my dad's restaurant." I said, "What were you doing in the alley?"  Gently, I placed the box on the ground behind me, and pushed my dark hair from my face. 

Nick looked at me strangely, "Do you know who I am?" I turned to look at him because of the way it sounded. He saw the look on my face, "No, not in that way."

I nodded, "Yes, you're Nick Jonas, part of the Jonas Brothers. I'm Elizabeth by the way.  Lizzie if you want." 

"I kind of wandered off, and found out that is was a fairly bad idea." He said ignoring what I said. "Nice to meet you Lizzie." He said with a smile. I looked away. 

"Definatly not a good idea for a celebrity like you to go wandering in the teen filled streets by yourself." I said, "Well, do you want anything while you're here? I could have someone fix you something, and you could probably stay in the kitchen, if my dad says it's okay.  I'm sure it is though."  I rambled.  I was getting a bit flustered with him being in here.  Should I be giving him celebrity treatment or just treat him like another customer?  

"Um, sure.  It couldn't hurt."  Nick said sticking his hands in his pockets.  

"Cool, hold on a minute."  I turned around, "Dad, I have a friend here! Can he have lunch in the kitchen?" 

My dad turned around while wiping his hands on a towel, "Sure, just don't keep everyone too busy."  I smiled, thinking it was funny that he had no idea that Nick Jonas was standing in his kitchen. 

I turned back to him, "Well, it looks like you can stay.  What do you want?"

 Chapter 3: "Wave to Nick!"

"Cara, hurry up or we're going to be late!"  I yelled from the bottom of the stairs.  My 5 year old cousin, Lucy, clung to my hand as we waited for my other sister to come downstairs.  She finally  came down decked out in her Jonas brothers tshirt and stuff she had.  "Finally!" I sighed, "Mom, we're leaving!" 

My mom peeked out from the kitchen, "Alright. Girls listen to Lizzie, stay together, and have fun."  She said giving us each a kiss.  I had told my mom what had happened and she gave me a lecture not to get 'involved' with a celebrity.  She said it as if I was expecting something to happen and she almost didn't let us go to the concert.  Luckily, Cara overheard and made a huge fit about wanting to go.  After that, I chose not to tell my dad.  So, I had no idea if he knew or not.  "Go get in the car."  She said to my sister and cousin.  "Lizzie, I need to talk to you."

Oh no, what is it now. "What mom?"

"Do you have everything? Cell phone, keys, jacket, tickets, money?"  She asked. 

I sighed and pulled out everything that she said.  "Okay, just be careful."  She said hugging me. 

"I will mom. Don't worry."  I pulled away and got in my mom's van.  I still had yet to get a car, so this was as good as it would get.  "Everyone buckled in?"  I said looking behind.  Cara and Lucy nodded and I pulled out of the driveway.

After an hour of driving, I had listened to every Jonas Brothers song.  Cara was freaking out the whole way there, singing along to the CD.  I was about to go nuts because unfortunatly, Cara didn't inherit the singing gene.  Lucy sat there quietly, occasionally kicking her feet back and forth.  That's what I liked about Lucy, she was always calm and quiet.

We pulled into the crowded ampitheater, "Jesus." I muttered under my breath, there was a huge line of cars trying to get into the parking lot.  Somehow, we ended up with a parking space 5 minutes later. With a click I turned off the van and hopped out to help Lucy out of her car seat.  Cara hopped impatiently as we waited.  Lucy jumped out of the car and held my hand.  

"Come on!" Cara whined. 

I rolled my eyes and walked behind Cara.  I had been to the giant ampitheater multiple times for other concerts, so I knew the way around.  I showed the tickets to a guy in a red shirt and he pointed us in the right direction. 

"Cara, slow down."  I said, as she attempted to run to the door. She sighed impatiently and walked next to Lucy.  We headed down the red carpeted stairs of the ampitheater as I scanned the seat numbers, 2 E, 2 D, 2 C, 2 B, 2A.  I stopped and looked at the tickets, "Oh my god." I muttered.  I had never been this close at a concert in my life.  We were basically front row and center.  Cara shrieked with delight as we sat down in the red seats.  Of course they were close, Nick Jonas himself gave them to us.  Yet, I wasn't expecting this much. 

After about 20 minutes of waiting, the lights went out and the curtain opened.  I was suddenly deafened by the sound of high pitched screaming.  I cringed at the fact that this was going to go on for the whole concert.   Cara was now jumping up and down screaming also.  Lucy tugged on my hand, "I can't see."  She whispered.  So, I picked her up and stood her on the seat. 

A fog machine emitted fog onto the stage and a the Jonas Brothers appeared on a platform that came from the ground.  Every girl in the room let out another shriek as they began the first song.  Hold on.  Lucy smiled with delight and swung her arms back and forth.  I wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs insticntively went around my waist in the piggy back position.  I bounced her around to the music and she giggled histarically.  I did a spin and caught a look at Nick who was at the stage.  He was watching, though he was doing in as discreetly as possible while strumming on his guitar and singing.  "Wave to Nick." I whispered to Lucy, and with a smile, Lucy waved.  Nick looked away with a smile.
