It was just another boring Saturday, nothing fantastic happening, although nothing fantastic ever really happens here…
I was meeting my friends at the mall today to do some shopping, I really hoped that I could convince them to stop at Hot Topic because there is this really awesome Transformers shirt that I’ve had my eye on for a while now and I really wanted to pick it up.
The car pulled in my driveway and Spencer honked the horn, Crystal was already in the backseat because she knew I got carsick if I didn’t ride in the front. I hopped in, buckled my seat belt(because it’s the law) and we drove off. The radio was blasting I song that I knew but didn’t really know…

“who is this?” I asked “some band…Stephani likes them…something brothers…they’re all over her walls…ummm” Crystal tried to remember “I think they’re called the Jonas Brothers…I know it starts with a J…” Spencer filled in “hmm they’re not bad…Stephani doesn’t have bad taste…” I said we all laughed in agreement.
We pulled in to the parking lot just as the song was ending. We got out of the car and walked in to the mall and looked around and after about half an hour of convincing I somehow managed to get them to come in to Hot Topic with me so I could finally get my shirt!! SCORE!
We walked in and I expertly walked right back to the rack where I knew it was and grabbed the shirt…but for some odd reason…the shirt was pulling back…so I yanked it harder and a voice on the other said “Come on! This shirt is mine!” and there was a hard yank from the other side that caused me to hit my head on the rack.
“OUCH!!!!” I yelled “Oh my goodness!!are you okay??” Spencer asked in a panic
“Way to go Joe!” another male voice said and I assumed Joe was the reason my head was throbbing in pain. Three guys walked around from the other side of the rack and looked at us. “Are you okay?” A tall boy with straight hair and very pretty eyes asked “No she’s not okay!” Crystal snapped but backed off once she got a better look at the boy. “I’m sorry! I thought it was just stuck on something I really didn’t mean to hurt her!” he spoke again…but he was only talking to Crystal.
“I’m fine” I said to no one in particular because the one who had asked was transfixed with Crystal at the moment and neither of them was paying attention to me. “Are you sure?” Spencer and the boy who seemed to be the oldest asked at the same time. “Jinx!!!” they yelled at the same time again and laughed. “guys it’s not funny!” the one who looked to be the youngest of the three said looking annoyed with the other two who I assumed were his brothers.
“haha it’s okay” I said finding the entire situation amusing “are you sure you’re alright?” he asked “yes, I’m fine thank you for asking!” “you’re welcome” he smiled
I finally took a look at them all…they were very good looking! Especially the youngest one…he was just plain HOTT!! With two t’s! I continued staring at this boy…and he kept staring back…until we were interrupted…
“Look I’m really sorry, Here you can have the shirt” The middle one, who I was assuming was Joe said. “It’s ok I don’t really need it” I said matter-of-factly. The was an akward pause that was suddenly filled by muffled music.
“I think your phone is ringing” the youngest one said laughing “Oh..wow..thanks!” I picked up the phone and my dad was on the other end.
“So what’s up?” Crystal asked after I hung up. “My dad says that I have to go home so I can study” I said. We turned away from the guys to have our conversation figuring they would get bored and walk away or at least continue shopping. But no they stood there the whole time listening to what we were saying. “now? But we just got here” Spencer said “I’m sorry guys, I’ll make it up to you I promise!” I said “okay…but I’m gonna hold you to that!” Crystal said and Spencer just laughed and we walked out completely forgetting about the three very handsome boys that we had left standing there.
A couple minutes later as we were almost out of the mall the three boys rushed up behind us. “Here” the youngest one said smiling and handing me a bag. “Thanks…” I said at a loss for his name “Nick” he filled in for me “and I’m Kevin” The oldest one said smiling at Spencer “And I’m Joe” the middle one told Crystal. “I’m Katie and this is Crystal and that’s Spencer” I said pointing to my two friends.
“Nice to meet you Katie” Nick said “Nice to meet you too Nick” I replied. He was really cute…he reminded me of someone…a celebrity perhaps…I don’t know… “So what is this?” I said to fill in the akward silence “open it” he said with a grin. I opened the bag following his orders and was amazed to pull out the same Transformers shirt that had caused the bump on my head not 10 minutes before. “I figured it’s the least we could do after Joe made you hit your head” “thanks, but you didn’t have to” “I know…but I wanted to” he said blushing a little.
My phone started ringing again, it was my dad wondering where I was. I hung up my phone and said “I have to go…thank you again” “anytime” “Spence, Crystal c’mon we have to go!” “Just a sec!” Spencer called. I looked over and saw that she was programming her number into Kevin’s phone and Crystal was doing the same thing with Joe’s. Nice guys.
“Umm” Nick started “yes?” I asked hopefully “could I maybe call you sometime?” “of course” I said as I put my number in his phone and then grabbed my friends and dragged them out to the car.
As we were leaving Crystal’s phone started ringing “It’s Stephani” she said. When she got off the phone she said that apparently three girls who look exactly like us were spotted in our mall with Stephani’s all time favorite band the Jonas Brothers…
THAT’S IT! THAT’S WHERE I’VE SEEN HIM BEFORE! ON A POSTER IN STEPHANI’S ROOM! HE WAS NICK JONAS!
…OMG Nick Jonas bought me a t-shirt…he asked for my number and I gave it to him
….Nick Jonas was calling me asking me for a date…and I was accepting
