Chapter One
Joe’s POV
I looked at myself in the mirror as I straitened my tie. This girl Kati was having a very formal gala type of party, and my brothers and I were getting ready for it. Almost everyone in the school was going and a bunch of other people from school in the region. I ran my hand through my hair, messing it up, yes it was formal but I like having that little messy look. I looked good, and ready to go in my black suite, white undershirt and a bright candy apple red tie. Yeah, it’s a very bold and daring colour, but it goes great with my style and personality. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and opened my bedroom door, walking out into the hallway. I played around with my purity ring - I had gotten a habit of it – as I walked to the front door. Nick and Kevin were there waiting for me.
“Took you long enough, lets go before we show up late.” Kevin said when I approached them. He turned around and opened the door, letting Nick and I out before he closed the door behind him. We all got into the car and Kevin drove us to Kati’s place, but first we had to stop and pick up Kimberly. Kimberly was Kevin’s girlfriend, they were right for each other. Even after their none-stop on-and-off relationship over the past months, they were finally staying strong.
Kevin’s POV
I pulled the car into Kimberly’s driveway and parked the car, leaving it run. I got out of the car and went to her door and I rang the bell. “Hey, Kevin!” She greeted me happily. I gave her quick kiss on the cheek. She looked beautiful; her hair was partially pinned back and she was wearing a gorgeous, long green dress - she had made me wear a green tie to match it – that went with her eyes.
“Come on, the guys are waiting and we don’t them to start the car and leave us here.” I told her, a smile on my face as I took her hand and closed the door behind her. We got into the car and I drove us to the party. “Well, here we are.” I said as I parked on the side of the road near Kati’s house. We all got out and walked to the front door.
“Hey guys, welcome, your just on time. My parents just left, so we’re going to blast the music. Come in, come in.” Kati said, opening the door and letting us in.
