Not much. Sorry!
Part XLV (45…Maybe…I Think…Possibly…I’m Not 100% Sure…)
Mia’s POV
“Hi honey!” Mom walked in the front door, tan as can be.
“Hey Mom. How was Hawaii?” I asked.
“Amazing. I wish you could’ve come” Mom said, moving a stray strand of hair out of my face.
“Me too. Next time though” I said.
“Yes, next time for sure” She agreed
“Hey Mia” Dad came in, giving me a hug
“Hey Daddy. Heard Hawaii was amazing” I said.
“It was. You’ll need to come next time, princess” Dad told me.
“For sure!” I laughed.
“So, what did you do?” Mom asked as we sat down at the table. I’d just ordered a large pepperoni pizza.
“Oh, not much” I said, forgetting about my little tattoo.
“So, when is this trip with Joe?” Dad asked curiously
“Uh, whenever the tour kicks off. I told you that his parents would be glad to talk to your, right?” I asked
Mom nodded. “Yes, you did. We need to figure out a day we can”
“Yeah” I agreed. “Oh, and I have plans Saturday”
“Not with Jade and Chris, right?” Dad asked. They hated them
“No Dad, don’t worry” I laughed
“I don’t know why you hang out with them” Mom said
I don’t know why either I thought
“Anyways, I have plans with Joe and his little brother, Frankie, actually” I said.
“Oh, there’s another one?” Mom asked
I nodded. “He’s one of 4. He has an older brother, Kevin, who’s 20, Nick, who’s 15, and then Frankie, who’s 7. I haven’t met Frankie, and he wants to meet me, so we’re going to McDonalds on Saturday” I told them
Dad chuckled “Ok then. Sounds like you’ve promised this”
“Yeah. I’ve promised him” I laughed
Then, I remember. Mrs. Jonas told me to tell them about the tattoo. I suddenly got a nervous feeling in my stomach. I didn’t want to tell them as soon as they got home. They were tired. And I was fine, I really was. It’d been a while now, and it wasn’t infected looking or anything. Jade knew what she was doing…I think.
Part XLVI (46)
Joe’s POV
“Morning” I kissed my mom on the cheek as I walked into the kitchen for breakfast.
“Morning honey. Sleep good?” she asked
“Yeah, alright.” I said, pouring myself some cereal
“Weren’t up all night talking to Mia, were you?” she asked
“No, I wasn’t. Her parents came back yesterday. Plus, she has school today” I said.
“She needs to tell her parents about…”Mom started, but I interrupted
“I know. She knows. Don’t worry” I assured her
“Alright, just remind her” Mom told me
“I will. I promise” I promised her.
“Morning” A sleepy Nick sat down in a bar stool.
“Morning. Sleep ok? You look exhausted” Mom said
“I don’t feel super good” Nick told her
“Let me see” Mom said, placing her hand on his forehead.
“You do feel a little warm. Hold on, I’ll get the thermometer” she said, and walked off.
“You okay?” I asked
Nick shook his head. “I don’t feel good. My stomach is really upset” he groaned
“Stay away from me” I said, and walked out of the kitchen, bowl of cereal in hand.
Nick’s POV
“Come here sweetie” Mom said, and put the thermometer in my ear.
“101.7. You have a fever” Mom said. “How about if you go and lay down on the couch, okay?”
I nodded. “Or, do you want to lay in bed?” Mom asked, stopping me
I shrugged. “I don’t care”
“Uh, go on the couch” Mom said, and I made my way into the living room.
“What’s wrong Nick?” Dad said, bopping me on the head with a newspaper.
“I’m sick” I moaned
“Really?” Dad asked, placing his hand on my forehead.
“I have a 101.7 degree fever” I said.
“Wow. Uh, where’s your mom?” Dad asked
“Kitchen” I said, and pulled a blanket around me
“Ok” Dad said, and made his way into the kitchen
Mr. Jonas’s POV
“Is Nick okay?” I asked my wife Denise
“I think it’s just a stomach bug. Frankie had is a few days ago. He probably got it from him” Denise told me, getting an Advil for Nick and a glass of water
“Probably” I agreed, and Denise went to go give Nick the medicane.
