HERE'S MORE!
Elena’s POV:
“Touch me one more time and I’ll kill you!” I said smacking Nate’s hand from my face.
Nate stuck out his tongue, “Because I’m so afraid of you!” In case you didn’t know- I have the worst little brother on the planet. The most evil nine year old ever. If only Frankie Jonas was my brother! I’d trade him for Nate any day!
“Stop fighting with Nathan!” My mom said, defending Nat for about the fiftieth time in the past half hour from the front seat of my family’s car.
”I’m not!” I said rolling my eyes, “He’s bugging me!”
“Who’s the older one?” My mom said in her ‘you’re-the-bigger-sister” tone.
“Whatever, you always take his side!”
“I don’t take sides honey.” My mom said looking back at me and Nat.
I huffed, “You al-“
Nat interrupted me, “Are we there yet?”
“Just about.” My dad replied from the driver’s seat.
“How much longer?”
“Five minutes.”
“I can’t wait that long!” Nate complained, “I have to go pee!”
“That’s disgusting!” I said plugging my ears.
“Not as disgusting as this!” I watched as Nate licked his hand and out of no where smacked it on my shoulder. I screamed and my dad swerved the car, pulling over.
“What the heck was that?” My dad turned around quickly.
“You little brat!” I said ignoring my dad, “I hate you! You-”
“That’s it!” My mom cut my sentence off, “You’re grounded Elena.”
“You can’t ground me!” I said not believing what I had just heard.
“Watch her.” My dad said pulling back onto the road.
“But it’s a vacation, I can’t be grounded on a cruise either!” I glared at Nate.
“Two nights. No pool. No going out to the opening dinner tonight. No going on deck without me or your dad.” My mom said sternly.
“That’s so unfair!”
“Life isn’t fair!” Nate sing-songed. I shot him my signature death stare.
“Then learn to get along with your brother.” My mom said looking out the window- this meant the conversation was over. But I wanted so bad to just yell at my parents, I mean seriously, how could they do this? Grounding me on my first cruise ever? To Mexico? They haven’t’ been anymore low. And the worse part of this all, well it’s not even my fault- it’s Nate’s!

“It’s a pleasure having you here.” The captain of the cruise said extending his huge hand out to us. I smiled and shook the captain’s hand after Joe and Kevin.
“Thank you.” I said kind of shyly.
“I’m Captain Henderson.” He said looking at all of my family, “And just let me know if you need anything at all.” We all shook our heads, this included: me, Joe, Kevin, Mom, Dad, and even Frankie, who honestly? I don’t think really knew what was going on. Frankie was paying attention more to the huge control/navigation panel to his right.
“Thank you so much, we’re happy to be here.” My dad said.
“We’ll that’s good. And by the way, you boys will be happy to know that you’re in luck- only my daughter and another are the only girls ages 12 - 16 on this cruise.”
“That’s so weird.” Joe said still not getting over the fact that there are such things as coincidences.
“Weird but true.” Captain Henderson said laughing.
“Well we’d love to meet your daughter.” Kevin said sucking up to the adults again.
“I’m not so sure.” Captain said raising her eyebrows, “She’s what you’d like to call obsessed.”
“We love meeting fans.” I said truthfully.
“We’ll maybe during the end- I’m trying to keep your stay on the down low.”
“We understand.” My mom said smiling, then suddenly a huge horn blew.
“Looks like everyone else is starting to board, would you like to go to your cabins now?” Captain said leading the way out of the control room.
“Sure thing.” My dad said pushing Frankie away from the steering wheel, “Come on Frank.” I heard him whisper into Frankie’s ear.
“I wonder how old his daughter is.” Joe said slipping next to me.
I rolled my eyes, “Twelve through SIXTEEN. You’re eighteen- find someone your own age.”
“Oh, well then I’m sure you can find someone then.”
“You need to stop Joe.” I said.
He shrugged, “You cant fight true love, Nicky.”
