"THEY'RE HERE!" I yelled, before picking up my phone and calling Lyric to tell her to come to my house pronto.
I sprinted downstairs as fast I could to see Joe just stepping out of the bus.
"JOEYYYY!" I screamed, running towards him, into his open arms.
"ALEEEEX!" He yelled, hugging me tight.
"How's my big brother?" I asked, stepping back and looking him over. "Geeze, Joe. You grew."
"Well... You got boobs." He laughed. I stuck my tounge out at him.
"So where are the other two?" I asked, looking behind him.
"Oh, I wanted to rub it in their faces that I got to you first.. So I didn't wake them up." He sneered.
"Oh.. Devious." I giggled. Just then, Kevin stepped out, looking totally asleep.
"Kevin!" I squealed, running to him and hugging him.
"Alex! Wow! You grew up!" He laughed. Again, with the staring at each others bodies. "You got hot!" I hung my head and crossed my arms in embarrassment.
"You may have gotten to her first, but I embarrassed her first!" Kevin laughed at Joe.
In that moment, I saw the other curly-haired boy climb out. I stared at him. He was amazing.
"Nicholas."
"Alexandra." I walked up to him and went up on my tippy-toes to stare into his eyes. He smiled.
"HA! I so win." I said, returning to my flat foot and hugging him. I was 3 days older than him, so I called him my little-big brother. He was bigger than me, but just a little bit younger than me.
"HEY HEY!!!" Lyric called, running down the street.
"YO! LYRIC!" Joe called, running towards her and scooping her up into an enormous hug.
"So?" I asked Nick. "What's the verdict this time?"
"A month.." He sighed.
"Well, lets make it one to remember!" I giggled, hugging him again then letting him go say hi to Lyric.

"You guy's wanna go in?" I asked, motioning towards the house.
"Sure! I'm a little hungry..." Joe said, putting his hand on his stomach.
"Well we can fix that." Lyric giggled, winking at me. I knew what she was thinking. I linked arms with Nick as we all wondered into my house and into the kitchen.
"Oh, hello boys!" My mom greeted, hugging them.
"Hey Mrs. Schaefer!" Kevin said, hugging her back.
"Mom, do we still have the ice cream in the freezer?" I asked. She nodded.
"I have an oboe lesson.. So I'll be back later. Don't get into trouble!" She said, kissing my cheek and walking out the door.
"So.. Chocolate or vanilla?" I asked them, reaching into the freezer and pulling out two tubs of ice cream. Everyone wanted chocolate, so I put the other back... And while the boys had their backs turned, I reached into the fridge and pulled out two cans of whipped cream and secretively  handed one to Lyric. I winked at her and we approached the boys from behind and sprayed the back of their necks with whipped cream. They all turned rigged and whipped around to look at us. Their faces were red.
"It's on." Nick whispered, looking straight at me. He was the first to lunge forward and grab me by the waist, throwing me over his shoulder and running into the basement. All the while I was screaming bloody-murder and laughing.
"Nick!! AHH! Hahaha!" I screamed, pounding his back. He threw me to the ground and straddled my legs, grabbing the can and spraying whipped cream all over my face. I screamed and laughed, trying to push him off.
"REVENGE!" He screamed as I shoved whipped cream from my face to his.
Eventually we ran out of whipped cream, so we just sorta sat there staring at eachother and laughing. The other three bounded downstairs, whipped cream all over them.
"Well, now that we've had our annual whipped cream fight... How about we watch a movie?" Joe suggested, walking over to our shelves and looking at the movies. Nick got up off of me so I went and joined Joe to look at movies.
"How about 'Little Miss Sunshine?'" I asked, taking out the movie. Joe laughed.
"I dunno, it may be a little too mature for Nick." Nick glared at Joe.
"As a matter of fact, I love that movie. Put it in!" I walked over to the dvd player and put it in, starting the movie. Kevin must've thought it would be funny to trip me, because when I was walking back towards the couch were Nick was sitting on the ground, he did! I fell forward and landed in Nick's lap, our faces inches from eachother and his arms around me. His cheeks turned bright red as everyone burst into laughter.
"Why, hello Nicholas!" I laughed, getting up and sitting on the couch behind him. I started braiding his curly hair as the opening credits started.
****Nicks POV****
M heart beat as fast as a hummingbird's as Alex landed in my lap. At first, I was compelled to kiss her.
Wait what?
She's my best friend. I couldn't like her like that! But as she ran her hands through my hair, I felt shivers run down my spine. I just wanted to keep her in my arms forever.

I have a lot more written, so you won't have to wait for the next chapter if two DIFFERENT people post comments.

Alex's POV
The movie was hilariously funny. Somewhere in the middle of it I wound up on the floor next to Nick.
"Hi stranger." He whispered in my ear. I stuck out my tongue at him. He patted his lap and my heart skipped a beat. Of course I climbed into his lap, I mean, come on. He is like my brother. Stop thinking romantically! I leaned back against his chest as he folded his arms around me, our breathing falling into sync.
Once the movie was over, it was still 4 in the afternoon. Kevin got up and turned on the lights, and everyone got up and stretched.
"So... What do you want to do?" I asked, from Nick's lap. It seemed like Nick didn't want to let go of me.
"Well, it looks like you're a little preoccupied." Joe laughed. I blushed and shoved Nick's arms off of me and got up. I punched Joe's shoulder.
"You haven't changed a bit, have you?" I asked. he shrugged.
"Nope." I rolled my eyes.
"There's a carnival down in downtown." Lyric suggested. I looked at the others and raised my eyebrows.
"I like that idea." I said.
"Me too."
"Me too."
"Me too." So with that, I grabbed my purse and we all headed outside. We walked the short distance to where the big field was in downtown, and there were prize things set up, a ferris wheel, and even a small rollercoaster! I grabbed Nick's hand and we ran towards a prize booth.
"Look! Look!" I squealed, pointing at a big panda the hung there. The rest of the group caught up to us as the guy who worked there came up.
"Do you want to play?" He asked Nick. Nick looked at me and smiled.
"Sure." He said softly. The worker gave Nick three baseballs. This was one of those games where you had to knock the milk bottles over. Nick aimed it up and threw it, knocking all five down on the first try.
"Yay! Great job!" I gushed, hugging  him.
"Which one do you want?" The guy asked. Nick looked down at me again and up to the panda. He pointed to it.
"That one!" The guy got it and handed it to Nick, who handed it to me. The guy eyed us.
"Are you two a couple?" He asked. Kevin, Lyric, and Joe erupted in a fit of laughter. My face flushed and Nick's cheeks turned bright red.
"Uh, no!" I exclaimed. "We're, uh.. Just friends!" The guy nodded and dissapeared into the back muddering, "sure, sure."
Nick's POV
They guy asked if we were together?! How could he?! I felt my face heat up as I stared at him and everybody laughed.
"Uh, no!" Alex exclaimed. "We're, uh.. Just friends!"
My stomach dropped. Sure, I sorta thought that, and we were.
But why did it make me feel sad?
Alex's POV**
"Before we embarrass ourselves... Let's go do something else. Let's split up then meet back here at 5:30." Lyric proposed. We all agreed and split up.
"Wanna go get cotton candy?" I asked him. He smiled and nodded. We walked up to the vendor, and asked for one cotton candy to share. After they made it for us we got in the incredibly short line for the ferris wheel. We climbed in and we rose into the air.
Nick shrunk down next to me, keeping his eyes on the floor.
"Are you ok?" I asked him.
"No." He gulped. "I've gotten a little... Afraid of heights." I wrapped my arms around him.
"Don't worry. You're safe with me." I pressed my cheek against his head and relaxed.
"You know--" he said after a few minutes "--I'm happier right now then I have ever been when I was on tour." I sat up.
"Yeah?"
"Being with you... It's better than anything--- ever." He smiled. I smiled back.
"That's really sweet." I gushed, holding his hand.
"You... you look beautiful." He said, blushing.
"And you're handsome." I giggled. I scooted closer to him.
"I missed you." He whispered.
"There was an empty pocket in my heart where you were supposed to be."
"Wow. How corny."
"I know, right?" I giggled as he leaned closer and surprised me... By pressing his lips against mine.
Nick's POV**
One word.
Magical.
