REDRUM MURDER
Chapter I
Kevin’s POV
It was the day of Joe and Kati’s beautiful wedding, we had all attended it. Kati had a lovely, long, elegant, whit wedding dress and Joe wore his best tux with a light purple tie all men of the wedding party wore. Nick and I were Joe’s best men, and of course, my beautiful wife Haley and Nick’s fiancé, Rachel, were Kati’s bride’s maids. Both of them wore elegant, long light purple dresses that matched with our ties. Terra and little Madison Grace were the flower girls, wearing pretty dresses the same colour as their mother’s. It was a wonderful ceremony, it reminded me of my own with Haley. When I saw her walk down the aisle, her beautiful dress seemed to give her the illusion of floating in mid air, and her smile that made me weak in the knees. I had no doubt that that was how Joe was feeling right now as Kati and her father walked down the aisle towards him. After they said their vows and kissed it was on to the reception. The food was exquisite and the room was well decorated, again with a little light purple here and there.
The bridge had a very emotional dance with her father and then came the bride and groom’s first dance. It was really beautiful. Then, every couple joined in. I took Haley in my arms as we danced. She laid her head on my shoulder, holding me close. It was just like our wedding, our first dance, things were so beautiful. I kissed her head, and rested my cheek on it as I whispered; “I love you”.
Kati’s POV
I really couldn’t believe that I was married, it was like a wonderful dream come true. The reception had ended, Joe and I thanked everyone for coming then left to a limo outside that would bring us back to the inn we reserved for all of the guests and ourselves. In the back of the limo, we both sighed in relief. I rested my head on him, his arm around me.
“Tired?” He asked me, moving the hairs out of face.
“A little exhausted. Yes.” I said. He brought my chin up and kissed me. He pulled back and looked into my eyes, smiling back at me.
“Well, the night’s not over yet.” He said. I nodded, I knew wasn’t over, no yet and I was happy about it. This was a day I never wanted to forget.
Terra’s POV
Madison and I stayed in our own room with our older cousin, Spencer. We left earlier then everyone else from the reception to go back to the hotel. Madison had fallen asleep on the way back and now she was sleeping in her crib. She was about 2 and ½ but she still refused to sleep in a bed right now. Spencer and I watched a movie and went to bed.
