A Birthday To Remember
AUTHORS NOTE: The first part of this fanfic. The prologue, is absolutely true. After that it isn't. My dad actually did send a letter out. Or should I say letters, but nothing happened, unfortunately. So I just thought I'd let you know that. :)
PROLOGUE
Megs POV:
"Well what's the worst that can happen? Nothing, it's worth a try" my dad said nearly silently.
He proceeds to write an extremely long letter, which unfortunately I can't tell what it's about. I wait til he's done, leaves the room, scramble to get on the computer and search.
"Aha, found it! Now what were you writing" That's all I could think about. "Wow it's long...Oh well!"
To whom it'll concern, my name is Richard and I have an amazing 16-year-old daughter who's birthday is coming up soon. I can't afford to get her anything because I have to pay medical bills. The bills are because in April of 2005 I was diagnosed with cancer. And to this day I still have it. In short, I can't afford anything for her birthday. And to be honest she is in love with the Jonas Brothers. When she has a bad day, or has to deal with me, she goes in her room and listens, and sings to their music. The music is an inspiration to her. So I God bless the boys for their music. And I was wondering if they were able to send something to her for her birthday. Nothing extravagent, just a card or something. It would mean the world to me and her. I don't even think I'd be here today without her. Thank you for taking time to read this, and God bless to all. "HOLY COW!" I practically yelled
"Is everything okay in there?" my dad called back
"Um, yeah, just great, thanks" I said, trying to process this all
"Alright, if you say so" he finally replied.
I'm sure he thought I was nuts
did my dad actually just write this? would the Jonas Brothers actually read that? would he hear from the actual Jonas Brothers? That's all that I could think of as I tried to get some rest that night. I couldn't wait to tell my best friend tomorrow!!!
