Chapter 05

Ashleigh's P.O.V.

The competition already started and Casey's squad was up next. I know your supposed to have good sportsmanship but I hope she drops the baton a lot. Ha. Ashlee and I sat beside each other just staring at them. Their routine was really good. I looked behind me to see where my parents were and I couldnt find them at first. I looked over into the next squad section thinking maybe they were sitting there because it was really crowded. I came across many faces but still couldn't see them. Then I locked eyes with Joe. I gave a small smile and waved. He waved back. He is really cute. I started looking for my parents again. I finally spotted them. They were sitting at the very top with my little brother Owen. When I turned back to watch the squad perform they were already done. It was now our turn.

Joe's P.O.V.

I'm not really into this majorette thing. It's kind of boring and really long. We're only here because of Casey. I honestly don't see what Kevin sees in her. She's not really nice. I glanced over and saw Ashleigh sitting there looking around for someone. I'm guessing her parents. She smiled and waved at me so I smiled and waved back. She's really pretty. Ashleigh's squad got up and went onto the floor. It was their turn. Their music was rock-ish. It was a good choice. The crowd was really getting into it. I looked over at Nick and pointed at Ashleigh and said "That's the girl I was telling you about. Ashleigh."

"She is pretty. She's really good at the twirly thing she does." Nick said trying to find the right word.
"Haha. Yeah. She is very good. At intermission I'm going to go and do something." I said with a slight smile.
"What? Talk to her?" nick said.
"No. It's even better."

Casey's P.O.V.

We just got done with our routine. I think we did really good. During the routine I looked up and saw Kevin not paying attention. I got really mad. He should be paying attention to me. He was talking to girl who was sitting beside him. Ugh. And to make things even worse Ashleigh's squad is performing right now. I'm not going to lie, they are good but I don't like her. I would like to punch her but then I would get suspended from twirling. I hate rules.

Kevin's P.O.V.

I have to agree with Nick. Majorettes is kind of boring. I felt kind of bad that I wasn't paying much attention to Casey. I was talking to this girl named Marina. I hope Casey isn't mad at me. If she is I will never hear the end of it. Don't get me wrong, I do really like Casey but sometimes she can be really mean. For about a month now I've been having feelings about breaking up with her. I don't think she's the girl for me.
