I woke up four hours later, my hair smothered to my face, my eyes so unbelievably dry, and my bed bouncing up and down.
"ONE MORE DAY! ONE MORE DAY! ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!" My two, teenaged twin sisters, Heather and Kassy were jumping up and down on their knees, right next to me on my bed. "AUGHHHH ONE MORE DAY!" They both screamed.
I picked my head up. Woah. Bad idea. I was so dizzy. I carefully sat up. "Guys, I know you're super excited," I slowly said, "but seriously. I'm SO TIRED and not up for this now, okay?" I asked them.
They stopped jumping. "Don't be such a Debbie Downer!" Heather scoffed. "Yeah," Kassy retorted, "Debbie Downer!"
"I'm sorry. I'm excited guys, really, I am. I've just, had a really bad day," I explained, fresh tears coming to my eyes as I recalled the horrible memories.
"Sorry," Kassy said, giving me a hug.
"It's okay, darling," I said, returning it.
I looked at the clock. 6:34. I was four minutes late for work!
"CRAP!" I shot up, out of bed, yanking my hair into a bun, and in the process, pushing Heather off the bed.
"OUCH!" She shrieked.
"Sorry!" I apologized, jumping around, trying to tie my shoes. "I'm just, REALLY late."
"Carly. Calm down!" Heather stood up, grabbing my shoulders. "Ashleigh called and said that she'd take your shift. She said that you should call her when you get a chance. Something about you being upset?" She looked at me, eyes full of concern.
"Thank, God," I sighed, sitting down on my bed.
"Yeah. We're going to let you get back to bed," Kassy said, sliding off the bed.
"You know what guys?" I asked them.
"What??" They both asked, turning around to look at me.
"I think that we should begin to P-A-R-T-Y PARTAYYY for our CONCERT tomorrow night!"
"HECK YESS!!!!!!!" Both girls shouted.
I ran over to the radio and switched on our favorite band, who just so happened to be the band we were going to see the next night.
As soon as the song came on, we jumped up on the bed, singing, jumping, and dancing along.
"OHHHHHHH THIS IS AN S.O.S, DON'T WANNA SECOND GUESS, THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE IT'S TRUEEEEEE!!!" The girls shouted, dispersing in laughter.
