~Em's POV~

I watched from the picnic table as the boys played flag football,it was freezing outside but I really didn't care,I had been invited to come along on the youth retreat by my best friends Bri and Mandy,they were both sitting beside me at the moment.Both of their boyfriends were playing along with the guys that I thought was cute.His name was Joe and well Mandy was dating his younger brother,he was one of the reasons that I was sitting out here in the cold freezing my butt off.I hadn't been introduced to him just yet.

I watched as Joe came running up to the girls that were sitting on the other side of us all huddled together in a blanket.

I bit my lip as he started to talk with Shayla or Shay for short,from what I could tell he liked her or at least I thought he did,he was always flirting with her like he was now.

I watched as Nick came walking up to Mandy with a smile on his face as he genlty kissed her.Will came walking up doing the same to Bri.

"No PDA Nick."I heard Joe said as he started to walk over to us.

"Oh shut up Joe."He said shaking his head as he sat in between Mandy and me.

I looked at the two of them and then looked back up at Joe,he was looking back at me.

"I don't think we've been introduced yet."He said holding his hand out"I'm Joe."

"I'm Em."I said as I took his warm hand in mine and shook it,a small smile on my face.

"Well I better get going."He said and I looked to where he was looking at,Shay had gotten up and was now walking away with her friends.

I nodded my head and sighed as I watched him walk away after her.
