"Taiylor, please!" Joe begged. I shook my head, tears spilling from my eyes. "I'm sorry! I never thought I would be doing this. I wanted to marry you, and raise a family. But the badn and the tour is getting in the way of that. I just thought that, for now, this would be the best decision." He reached out for me. I shoved him away and ran from his doorstep. He broke up with me. He said forever. People say that hate is a strong word. Well, so is love, but people throw it around like it's nothing.

Time seemed to drag on and on. I didn't receive any phone calls or texts or letters...or any form of communication for that matter. I was beginning to think it was really over. Until one day, Joe called, "Taiylor, please come to our show tomorrow. It's at seven. A ticket will be waiting for you at the box office." I went to to the arena, only to find that my seat is front row, dead center. I sat in my seat throughout most of the concert, not looking at Joe. "I would like to call an old friend on stage," Joe's voice said. I looked up. He was extending his hand to me. "Hey, hey, Taiy, Taiy. Care to join me?" Reluctantly, I took his hand. He pulled me on stage and told me to sit on a stool. I did as he said. "We're going to play an old favorite."
Joe kept our yes locked while he and his brothers played Please Be Mine. At the end of the song, Joe turned to the crowd and held the microphone to his mouth. "Exactly one year ago today, I ended the relationship between Taiylor and I. I thought it would be the best decision, considering I had been a terrible boyfriend. Turns out, it was the biggest mistake of my life." He walked back over to me and took my hand, my face unsure. "Taiylor, what I did was unforgivable, but I need you. We were going to get married, settle down, and raise a family. I want that more than anything. I want it with no one else but you." He reached into his pocket, pulled out a small box, got down on one knee, and opened the small box.
"Taiylor, will you please be mine?" The girls in the arena erupted in ear-piercing screams. All I could do was nod, speechless. He slid the ring onto my finger and pressed his lips to mine. "I'm in love with you, Taiylor. Forever."
