Chappie numero uno!!
Taylor's POV
It was a normal day with the exception of it being my 15 birthday. And since I'm the youngest in my group of friends, my best friends decided to pick on me and taunt me, and the thing that ticked me off the most was Freddy Krueger. So they started singing the stupid song! "Girls come in." Mom said, from the screen door. I had just pushed Kati down and now we were supposd to go inside. I followed closely behind all my friends
"Happy Birthday to you...happy birthday to you...happy birthday dear Tay-tay...happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang. Mom presented a chocolate cake diguised in a white frosting coat, with 15 strip[ed candles on top. I took a huge breath and blew out the candles wishing to meet the guy of my dreams. Though I didn't know who he was. Mom cut the cake, evenly sliced. Mom was a perfectionist. "Do it over again and again until it's right!" that's her motto! Me and my friends gathered around the coffee table and started shoveling cake into our mouths.
When we were finished we were stuffd. "Best birthday ever!" Bre exclaimed, patting her gut. by now it was about 10:00. "Okay girls time for bed!" Mom said. We all groaned. "Fine stay up, but Taylor, me and your father are going to sleep. You know what that means?" Mom asked. "No rated R movies." I answerd. Mom smiled and pranced happily to her bedroom. After Mom was out of ear-shot, Julia got up and grabbed two DVD cases from the shelf. "So which movie? Nightmare on Elm Street...or Halloween?" Julia asked. "You heard what Mom said. No rated R movies!" I exclaimed. "What your parents don't know won't hurt us!" Julia said, placing Nightmare on Elm Street in the DVD player.
"No don't!" A helpless girl screamed. A burnt man with razor blade gloves on, came toward her. The girl tried running but it was too late. The burnt man had already seized her and dug his "fingers" into her neck. A closeup of this girl revealed it was me!!
I woke up in a sweat. I was in my sleeping bag, on the floor of my living room, the Nightmare on Elm Street menu screen glaring at me. My eyes slowly adapted to the pitch darkness and I saw Sarah and Bre's bodies laying in their sleeping bags beside mine. Madi, Julia, and Kati were spread out all over the couches. It was just a bad dream. My breathing restored to normal and soon enough...I was back asleep!!
It looked longer in my notebook!!
