Hush. I know. I have atleast three fanfics going on atm. I'm having auditions for one I think still. But I really really want to write this one. It just keeps on nagging me to write. I'll have auditions for it later on tonight. :P REMEMBER: comments are loved! No one is mentioned in chapter one yet until after auditions.
It's Hard For Us To Love
Chapter One: Christine's POV.
I sat there in the backseat of my mom's black SUV. The car was deathly quiet. I hated her right now for even sending me to the place. Well, you're probably wondering what I'm talking about right? Well, my name is Christine Samantha Carter. I have long black hair and chocolate brown eyes. I'm fifteen, and a rebel. I don't dress like one though. I look like an innocent goody two shoes kid. But I'm not. I break the law, the school rules, disobey almost everyone that's an adult, and so much more. That's why I'm being sent to this cabin in the middle of nowhere to cool off. I would learn how to survive in the wild. I would have no cellphone, no iPod, and no electricity. It was just me, someone else, and the wilderness.
We arrived at the small cabin. "Okay sweetie. Out you go" my mother said. I mumbled something to myself then grabbed my blue duffel bag and got out. "If I'm dead, don't give Melissa my room!" I called as she drove off. We arrived probably before dawn. Around six thirty? It was only me. I walked up to the cabin slowly and knocked on the green door to see if anyone was there yet. No response. I slowly opened the door with a creek and walked in. Crap! One bed!? I thought to myself as I set my bad on the bed. It was pretty small, but enough to fit two people. There was nothing else besides a window, a green rug by the bed, and maybe a small dresser. I sat on the bed and threw my red sleepingbag in a corner. This is going to be a long eight weeks I thought.
Nick's POV.
"Kevin! Tell me why do I have to go to this cabin in the middle of nowhere again?" I asked. Kevin sighed. "You have to go because you have to learn how to maintain your anger" he explained. I sighed. "Well, it wasn't my fault I have anger issues!" I said. We reared up the cabin. "Okay buddy" Joe said smiling. I could tell he was excited to have me out of the house. "We'll see you in eight weeks" he said. Kevin stopped me and held out a plastic bag. "Drop it" he said firmly. I frowned at him then took out my cell and dropped it in. "Can I keep the watch?" I asked. Kevin sighed. "Fine. Whatever" he replied. He then drove off.
I had my red duffel bag in one arm and my black sleepingbag in the other. I slowly walked up the dirt path and knocked on the door. "Enter" a voice called. I groaned. Great. Someone's already here I thought. I walked in slowly to see who it was. A girl was lying on the only bed. She looked at me and for a moment there we just couldn't say anything. "I'm Nick" I said findong my ability to speak. She grunted and turned over. "Did I ask for your name?" she asked bitterly. Geez. What a b**** I thought. I threw my duffelbag in the corner beside her sleepingbag and slowly began to unravel mine. She got up. "What are you doing?" she asked. I ignored her. "What are you doing?" she repeated. I sighed. "Rolling out my sleepingbag so I can sleep. Duh" I said rudely. If she was going to be rude, so was I.
While setting up my sleepingbag, I noticed her black polished toes staring at me. I looked up at her. "Um, could you not put your feet in my face?" I asked rudely. She ignored me. "Could you get your feet out of my face?" I repeated again. She still didn't listen. Instead she let out a cute giggle. "You're cute when you're angry" she replied. I looked up at her and managed to smile. She had the same chocolate brown eyes as I did and thick red glass.es. Her long black hair fell past her shoulders and up to her back. She had two black hair ties on her left arm. "Am I supposed to take that as a compliment?" I asked smiling. I got up and sat on the bed beside her. Up close, she looked really cute. "If you want" she replied smiling. "You still haven't told me your name" I pointed out. She looked outside the window and saw the sunset was starting.
Before getting up, she kissed me lightly on the cheek. "It's Christine" she said before slipping into her black and white polka dotted vans and walking out.
