Chapter 4
~Three Weeks Later~
~Kevin's POV~
I set in our managers office as we looked over everything for our tour,we had decided that one of our opening acts would be the band that Nicolette and Paul had.Our manager was getting to pick who else we were going to have for an opening act and that was what he was trying to decide at the moment.Each of us would have our own family bus including Frankie,his wife who just so happened to be three months pregnant with there first child.Did I mention Frankie was our drummer now?Well if not then yeah Frankie joined our band as soon as he turned seventeen.
"Ok so we had alot of offers for this tour."Our manager said as he looked at his papers"And this is who we're going to go with for the tour."
He placed a paper in front of us that Reed Shecklers name on it along with a picture of him.
"I'm sorry but no."I said quickly shaking my head.
"Wait why?"Joe asked as he looked at me.
"Joe this is the guy that just so happened to be caught on camera dancing with my daughter in an inapropriate way and kissing her."I said as I looked at him.
Joe was actually the one who had showed me the magazines in the first place and when I told him I had grounded Madison for three weeks he told me it should have been a month.I think Joe was more protective of her than I was in fact I think he was more protective of her than he was his own kids.
"Kevin's right we can't tour with him."Joe said shaking his head.
"I'm sorry but that's not your choice guys."He said shaking his head"It's either tour with him or there is no tour."
I sighed running my fingers through my hair.
"Why him though?"I asked.
"Because he's new to the music scene."He said"He just got done recording his first album."
"Fine."I said with a small nod as we got up and shook his hand.
~Madison's POV~
I sat out by the pool trying to tan,I was finally ungrounded but I really didn't have anything to do since Emily was out with Ollie from what she had told me they had grown really close in the last couple of weeks since I was grounded and couldn't go anywhere with her.I had texted Reed earlier that day but I hadn't heard back from him and I wasn't even sure if I was going to.
"Family meeting."I heard my dad say from the house and I quickly got up walking in.
I walked into the living room where everyone was sitting as they watched me come in.A frown was on dad's face so something told me that whatever was going with the tour wasn't something that he liked.
"What's going on?"I asked as I sat down on the couch.
"Alright so we talked with the manager and he said he was alright with you going on tour."He said"But there's someone else who's coming with us who I don't really care for and I almost thought about leaving you here Madison but then I decided that wouldn't be very fair."
"What why were you going to keep mem from going?"I asked"My grounding is over with."
"Yeah but your little friend that got you grounded is one of our opening acts on the tour."He said shaking his head as he ran his fingers through his hair"I'm still letting you go with us but as long as you don't try and sneak around with him."
I slowly nodded my head trying to keep from smiling at the fact that I was going to be able to see Reed,
"When do we leave?"Niki asked.
"In two days."My dad said with a little smile as he leaned down and kissed her gently.
I made a gagging noise before they slowly pulled away laughing.
"You take more after your uncle Joe than you think."My dad said shaking his head"Now you two go and pack."
"What about Emily does she still get to come if it's alright with her parents?"I asked.
Dad nodded his head slowly and I smiled.
"Wait dad what did they say about the band?"Paul asked.
"Your in."My dad said with a little smile.
A big smile appeared on Paul's face as he quickly got up and walked out of the room.I made a face as our parents kissed again and slowly made my way out of the room.They said I used to think it was funny when I was younger well I didn't now it was just plain gross expecially when they did it in front of us.
I walked into my room and picked up my phone sighing when I saw that I had no messages.I sighed as I texted Emily.
Hey dad said it was ok if you came on tour...you'll never guess who's also coming.
I set my phone down as I walked over to my closet and grabbed some suitcases out as I started to pack them.

Two days later Emily and I were sitting in the car with Paul and Niki waiting for my dad to come out so we could go and meet the others at the record company where we would be getting onto our buses.The place we would call home all summer long.Dad came walking out of the house as he got into the car and we headed off.
When we got there we all headed inside and I stopped dead when I saw Reed leaning against the wall talking with Ollie,who I learned was also coming along because he was a guitar player for Reed.I quickly turned my head and headed over towards Nicolette when I saw him look my way.
~Joe's POV~
I watched that Reed character as he looked at Madison he's eyes following her as she walked over towards Nicolette with Emily right behind her.I didn't like this guy and it wasn't just because his mother was my ex-girlfriend.I looked down when I felt Ari wrap her arms around my waist a small smile on her face.
"When are we going to tell everyone?"She asked softly.
"Well soon I hope."I said leaning down and giving her a quick kiss"Just as long as your kids don't ruin it first."
"They're kin to you aren't they?"She asked laughing a little as she shook her head and slowly pulled away from me.
I smiled and shook my head.
~Niki's POV~
I stayed by Kevin's side as we waited for the manager to get there and tell us who all would be on what buses,Kevin held my hand tightly as he watched Reed watching Madison.
I knew that if Reed even tried to talk with her that Kevin would be over there stopping,after the pictures of him and Madison came out he had been cry protective towards her even more than he used to be.I tried to explain to him that she was growing up and that he needed to let her go at some point.
He explained that he would in time but he wasn't about to let her date a guy who would only end up using her like Reed.When I asked him how he knew Reed would just use her his only response was he knew guys like him.
I watched as the guys manager came walking down the hall a smile on his face.
"Alright so your buses are all outside waiting for you."He said"Kevin can I talk with you and your family?"
Kevin nodded as Madison and Paul came walking over to us.
~Madison's POV~
I slowly walked over to my dad,Niki and the manger wondering what was so important that he needed all of us there.
"Alright now as you know all of you have your own buses."He said as he looked at us.
"Yeah what are you getting at?"My dad asked.
"We could only get four buses so Reed has to share a bus."He said"So we're putting him with you guys."
"What?"My dad asked anger showing on his face"There is no way your sticking him on a bus with my family not to mention the fact that I have two seventeen year olds on the bus."
"Once again Kevin this is our choice."He said as he looked at Kevin.
"Then stick him with Joe or something."Dad said shaking his head.
"That's not such a good idea when Joe's ex-girlfriend happens to be his mother."He said shaking his head"He's on the bus with you and that's final."
"Fine but all I'm saying if he ends up dead you'll know the reason."My dad said and with that he headed out torwards the buses,the rest of us slowly following behind him.
If you just realize what I just realized,....Then we'd be perfect for each other.....And will never find another....Just realized what I just realized...We'd never have to wonder if......We missed out on each other now.
I quickly pulled my phone out when I realized that was the ringtone that I had set for Reed.Hoping that no one else would notice I slowly opened my phone.
No one would ever guess that I requested to be put on that bus with you..they were going to stick me with Nick.
I smiled and shook my head as I glanced at him a small smirk on his lips as we headed outside.
