Chapter One:
*Teagan’s P.O.V.*
There are a couple things that are necessary for living in New York City.
· 2 best friends to split rent with Check
· Living above a cheap Chinese restaurant and getting free meals Check
· A pile of dishes in the sink so high that you need a step stool to put a plate on top Check
· An endless supply of hotel shampoos Check
· 7 locks on your door with 7 identical keys that you can never tell apart Check
· Neighbors that you can hear having sex at night Check
Looks like we’ve got it all.
We had our rituals:
Sunday: Sushi at Aqua Falls for dinner.
Monday: 15 minute tidy. With the stove timer on for 15 minutes we would run around our apartment trying to get as much done as possible
Tuesday: Lattes and soft pretzels in Central Park.
Wednesday: Icecream Bars and 8 dollar soft drinks at the café in the Empire State Building
Thursday: Watching Ugly Betty while eating Carmel Corn from Engro Deli
Friday: Shopping Sprees all around NYC. And taking advantage of Hailey’s Employee Discount at Macys
Saturday: Free day. Mostly consists of Spencer and Hailey working while I lounge around all day filling out applications wishing I had a job.
Spencer Ruth Landry: Her blonde hair bringing out the blue in her eyes. Shes the mother of us all. The oldest. At the age of 25 she cares for us to no extent.
Hailey Marie Grendall: The vintage look to her clothes made her lanky tall body look supermodel perfect. Her bubbly personality instantly attracting people. At the careless age of 22 she was the partier of the bunch.
And then there is me. Teagan Madilynn Crowley: Just out of high school, the newest resident. After my sister got married young and moved out I started talking to her friends and became instant friends. The thing about living in New York City is its so unpredictable.
That’s why I never expected to be accepted onto a dating show. With my two best friends in tow.
