okay. im going away to camp this year, and im a little scared that my ojd is gonna cost me some of my good camp friends! the people in my class have gotten used to it, because they have been there since the early stages. but what if theres nobody else with OJD at camp? what if im like 'the weird kid' at camp this year? im a little worried. but im not gonna pretend like i dont have OJD because i am what i am (hehe)!! is anybody else worried about stuff like this?
In the UK or atleast my school hardly anyone knows who they are so for me I'm not worried because apart from my friends who have OJD too, no-one understands what we say. But I understand you being worried about it.
You could just share your OJD and like let others know that you love them and everything. But don't go on about them all the time if the people around you don't like them or anything because chances are they'll become annoyed with you and you don't want that everyday you're there. So you'll like have to save all your major OJD rants for your friends on the phone.
That's all I can think of. I've never been to camp. I hope this helped!
Don't be worried. Two years ago, my friend and I had serious OJD when no one else knew about them. By the time we left camp we had started a tradition of singing "Please be mine" by the campfire. A lot of people have OJD, even if they won't admit it (like my brother! =)
OMJ!! THATS SOOO COOL! but theres like 200 people at camp! so im notthinking thats possible
I had that same problem at school, and yet it still ended badly.
I'm sure people will like JB at camp, though.
The kids at my school all listened to rock music, anyways.
