what?! stopping negative comments & getting JB @ #1 for TRL. because if you didnt know TRL is rigging the countdown and isnt giving who DESERVES to be #1 the chance at being number 1

why?! we LOVE JB and will do ANYTHING for them! and if you like crashing websites

how?! type & speak your mind in a comment on the video (WHEN YOU LOOK ME IN THE EYES) and watch it ALOT. then email and complain! dont forge to VOTE AND COMMENT AND EMAIL A LOT!

[2.14.08]--best day ever. Won FRONT ROW tickets on the radio in the morning & then at the concert i got to touch Joe & Kevin's hands twice! and i got smiles from both Nick & Joe....AND i made TONS of eye contact :D

I just left TONNNNNS of comments and voted for JB on trl... and then i decided to email MTV so i thought i would show u guys wat i said in my email... tell me if theres anything i should have added cuz i will email them again lol.

Hi, my name is Kayla and im sure u will be getting a lot of these email's but if you get the chance to read mine, i am very grateful.
I am a big Jonas Brothers fan and strongly believe they deserve number 1 on the TRL countdown. I feel as though you are treating the Jonas Brothers unfairly just because they are a positive influence and are believed to be targeted at "younger" audiences. Just because they dont strip or talk about sleeping around in their music, doesnt mean they arent "MTV Material". They are just as good, if not better, than all the other artists on the TRL countdown. Another thing is they have some of the most dedicated fans in the world. Us Jonas fans are willing to sit at our computer for hours at a time every night just commenting and voting for who we believe deserves a fair spot on the TRL countdown. Now tell me thats not dedication. I can pretty much guarantee that the Jonas Brothers are getting the most votes. I mean really, you havent heard of the "Operation vote for Chris Brown" or "The Sara Bareilles TRL Crash", have you? Well i certainly havent. I would really gain some respect for TRL if i knew they were treating people fairly. Thanks for listening, and thanks for your time.

I sent this email to MTV about two weeks ago, when we were seeing negative comments on the video and such.

I am a big fan of MTV's TRL - its a great chance to express our votes and watch our favorite videos. The concept is fantastic and should be executed just as well.

But what is going on here, really?

The Jonas Brothers video, When You Look Me in The Eyes, is showing up with NEGATIVE comments??!?! When and why is this happening, when I for one have never seen this video with less than an insane amount that only shows and proves our support and need for the video to come out on top? And why is the video moving up and off the charts, when it's being watched and voted and commented more than most of the videos on the list? And TRL supposedly counts EVERYTHING into its opinions - votes, comments, and number of watchings.

So why is this suddenly false for one video? Just because of a clean image and a song that doesn't sell inappropriete themes to teenagers? That

It seems to me and many others that MTV is acting arbitrary and untrue and biased about its voting. Naturally you lean towards artists and songs YOU, not WE, feel should be number one. This is undermining the whole purpse of TRL - its our vote, not yours.

I used to watch this show religeously and follow its progress closely, but now I'm just not sure if what I'm watching and seeing is even real anymore. Let us, the American teens, choose our videos - and stop bumping the Jonas Brothers out of a spot that should rightfully be theirs. TRL is such a great show - its a wonderful way for us to express ourselves. I just want you to know that the Jonas Brothers deserve number one, whether you think so or not. Thank you for reading.
