Chapter Two
It was finally here. Today was the day Elayna had only ever dreamed about. Today she would be meeting the boys who’s music has helped her through so much. In the past year her aunt has been diagnosed with myxofibrosarcoma cancer, which is the most aggressive & fastest spreading kind, her boyfriend of three years died and she has sunken into a depression. For someone who is normally always cheery & bubbly this was a huge change. But music has always had a healing power on Elayna, and the Jonas Brothers were the perfect medicine. She could listen to their music for hours on end and every song seemed to touch a special place in her heart. And now she was going to meet her saviors, she couldn’t wait.
Elayna & Melanie arrived at the meet & greet about two hours early.
“I TOLD you we wouldn’t have any trouble at all getting here!!!” Elayna said while glaring at Melanie.
“I guess next time I’ll probably listen to you, haha.”
Realizing they had nothing to do they decided to hang out in front of the venue because it was a beautiful day. While walking around they noticed one of the doors of the venue was propped open.
“E! Come here!” Melanie screamed.
As soon as Elayna reached Mel’s side she knew what she was thinking.
“Absolutely. Let’s go.”
After they were safely inside they looked around. It was practically empty except for a few people wheeling around big black boxes. People passed them by paying no attention at all. They both just looked at each other as if realizing the same thing at the exact same moment.
“They are somewhere in here E! THE JONAS BROTHERS!! The JoBros are here just hanging out…why are we standing still?”
The two quickly took off around the venue. Melanie had fallen a bit behind Elayna. All of a sudden Melanie called out to Elayna but it was too late. Out of no where Elayna had been hit in the head by something and was down on the ground.
“E!!” Melanie screamed as she ran towards her injured friend.
“What the…” Elayna said as she picked up a white ball from the ground.
“OMG E that’s a wiffle ball….,” before Melanie could even finish her sentence she heard voices arguing with each other and quickly growing closer.
“Nick! Why must you always hit the ball so hard?!” hollered Joe.
“Why can’t you ever catch anything Joe?” retorted Nick.
Kevin just snickered at the two arguing. “Really guys. Let’s just find this ball, it’s our last one because YOU TWO keep losing them!”
As the boys rounded the corner they all immediately stopped talking.
*Kevin’s POV*
Kevin was really getting tired of looking for things Nick & Joe had lost. He was determined to find this ball because it was their last one and he didn’t know how many more his parents would let them purchase.
As they continued forward they could hear voices, it sounded like girls. He noticed Joe face perk up and all of them began to pick up the pace. As they turned the corner Kevin became wide-eyed at the sight in front of him. Two girls were sitting on the ground. One had short blonde hair and was very pretty. But the other girl was beautiful. She had luscious brown hair that hung in loose curls just below her shoulders and amazingly deep blue eyes that took his breath away. She was gingerly rubbing her head and then Kevin saw the ball in her hand…oh crap.
